By accessing, browsing, creating an account, initiating a checkout, or otherwise using JobHoundHQ, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

2Description of Services

JobHoundHQ provides software tools for candidates and job seekers, including:

• Direct ATS Aggregation: Indexing and monitoring verified job postings directly from primary Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, and SmartRecruiters without recruiter middlemen or agency spam.
• Direct Application Links: Providing direct-to-ATS external URLs where applicants submit their candidacies directly into employer hiring databases.
• Candidate Profile Management: Storing user contact info, skills, education, and career history to facilitate fast applications.
• AI Resume Tailoring: Context-aware resume optimization and ATS keyword alignment powered by large language models.

3ATS Aggregation & Third-Party Disclaimers

JobHoundHQ indexes publicly available job postings hosted on ATS providers. We do not represent, employ, or recruit on behalf of the hiring companies listed.

Job listings are subject to change, closure, or removal by employers at any time without notice. While we strive to maintain real-time accuracy, JobHoundHQ does not guarantee that any position remains open, that external application forms are functional, or that any user will receive interviews or employment offers.

4User Accounts & Security

To access Pro features (such as unmasked direct links, full company names, and AI tailoring), you must authenticate via your email address. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during onboarding and profile creation.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your email inbox and authentication links.
• Promptly notify JobHoundHQ at support.jobhoundhq@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Not share, transfer, or resell your paid subscription or account credentials with third parties.

5Billing, Subscriptions & Payment Processing

Payments for JobHoundHQ Pro memberships are processed through our Merchant of Record and payment gateway partners, including Dodo Payments.

• Billing Cycle: Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly) as specified at checkout until cancelled by you.
• Automatic Renewal: Unless cancelled prior to the end of the billing period, your subscription will automatically renew at the current rate using your stored payment method.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting support.jobhoundhq@gmail.com. Upon cancellation, you retain Pro access until the conclusion of your current paid billing period.
• Price Adjustments: We reserve the right to revise pricing. Existing subscribers will receive advance notice before any price adjustments take effect on renewing subscriptions.

6Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features & Limitations

JobHoundHQ provides AI-assisted resume parsing and resume tailoring powered by Google Gemini. By utilizing these tools:

• You understand that AI models generate probabilistic suggestions, drafts, and keyword alignments based on the input text you provide.
• You remain solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all statements, bullet points, skills, work history, and claims before submitting resumes to prospective employers.
• You agree not to upload fraudulent credentials, harmful content, or copyrighted text that you do not have permission to use.

7Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following restricted actions:

• Systematically scraping, extracting, harvesting, or indexing JobHoundHQ data, job indexes, or user profiles via automated robots, spiders, or scripts without prior written consent.
• Attempting to circumvent rate limits, authentication tokens, API keys, or access controls.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any portion of the platform or AI pipelines.
• Using JobHoundHQ to transmit spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or automated mass applications that violate employer ATS policies.

8Disclaimer of Warranties

Provided “As Is” and “As Available”

JobHoundHQ and its features are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. We make no warranty that your use of the platform will result in job placement, interviews, or hiring.

9Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall JobHoundHQ, its founders, affiliates, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, employment opportunities, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the platform. In no case shall JobHoundHQ's cumulative liability exceed the amount paid by you to JobHoundHQ in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

10Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of the platform following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
